PROJECT ABSTRACT ON A STUDY CONDUCTED ON PLASTIC; USAGE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT
Abstract: This abstract is being done as part of frist semester B.Ed curriculum. The topic of the project was a study on "Plastic; usage and waste management. The data was collected using survey method and use of secondary sources. The study was conducted on ezhupunna panchayath in alappuzha district. Pollution is one of the biggest disaster all over the world. Usage of plastic in the world is incresed in each year. Humans have produced about 8 billion tons of plastic since 1950 and more than half of it went straight to land fills. All of the plastic thats no longer in use only about 9% was actually recycled. Plastic production and usage has extensively incresed in uncomfortable manner globally. Plastic has several important use and it is on the most versatile municipality substabce used in the world.
